ITINERARY

Day 01: New Delhi – Fly to Leh, Ladakh
Morning after breakfast departure for airport to take a domestic flight to Leh which gives you aerial view of Himalayas. This flight will be for one hour. Check-in to the hotel for a complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the hotel. Post lunch visit Leh Market. Overnight in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Full Day Sightseeing
Today we have full day sightseeing around Leh. After breakfast we will visit Leh Palace. Leh Palace also known as Lachen Palkar Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the city of Leh. Next, we will visit Shanti Stupa. Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa. Then we will move to Hall of Fame, basically, this is a war museum that is constructed and maintained by the Indian army.

Next, we will stop at Magnetic Hill. What special about Magnetic Hill this hill does not really have a magnetic force, but it just creates an optical illusion of sorts so that the road, which goes downhill, seems as if it goes uphill. Lastly, we will visit Sangam. Sangam is the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers in Ladakh. Back in hotel for dinner and rest. Overnight in Leh.

Day 03: Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (120 km) via Khardungla Pass which is known as highest motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft. Arrive at Hunder by afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder villages and camel safari in sand dunes between Deskit and Hunder village. Overnight in Nubra Valley.

Day 04: Day Trip Tur- Tuk Village
After breakfast we will drive to Tur- Tuk village 2-3hours drive one way. This village is the last village in Indian side just next to Skardu region in Pakistan. After some time in Tur Tuk village, we drive back and visit Panamik hot spring (if the time permit depends on the road that time) about 3hours drive from Tur-Tuk village. Will spend some time at the hot spring and return in Nubra Valley. Overnight in Nubra Valley.

Day 05: Pangong Lake
After breakfast, we will visit Deskit Monastery and then leave 95 km for Pangong Lakeat via Shayok river bank. Pangong Lake is at 14,500 ft. Later, free time at leisure to enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of the Pangong lake.
Overnight in Pangong Lake campsite.

Day 06: Hanle
Post breakfast, move to Hanle. Hanle is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border. India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope at Hanle.

Overnight stay at Hanle.

Day 07: Hanle - Umling La – Hanle
Travel to Umling La for a day visit and return back to Hanle for night stay. The Umling La pass is traversed by a road between Chisumle and Demchok, also called the Umling La Road, which ascends to a height of 5882.64 meters (19,300 feet) in the vicinity of the pass, making it the world's highest motorable road

Day 08: Tsomo Riri
Morning head towards Tsomo riri lake from Hanle. Tso Moriri lake in Changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautiful, calm and sacred (for ladakhis) high altitude lakes in India. In fact, it is the largest high altitude lake in India that is entirely in Indian Territory
Overnight stay at Tsomo riri.

Day 09: Leh
Early morning enjoys the picturesque view of the sunrise on the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh. Long drive so it is recommended to rest.
Overnight in Leh.

Day 10: Leh last day
Late breakfast and head to Shey Palace and Thiktsey monastery by 11 am. A stone's throw from Leh, Shey Monastery and Palace is best known for the three-storey statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. Made of copper, the statue is said to be a one-of-a-kind structure in the region. Apart from being the largest monastery of Central Ladakh, Thiktsey monastery is also famous for its 49 ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha in the lotus position, covering two floors of the monastery. Head towards Leh market for souvenir shopping and return back to hotel Overnight stay at hotel

Day 11: Fly Leh to Delhi – Fly Home
After breakfast, will have free and easy day around Leh. You can go to market to buy souvenirs to bring back home. In the afternoon check out from hotel, transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to New Delhi. Arrival in Delhi evening and catch-up flight back to home. End tour
